A local company has celebrated a bumper year supporting good causes locally.

High Peak Comps, which runs regular raffles and prize giveaways, has spent a huge amount of time this year supporting local charities, schools, and more.

Here's some of the amazing work they've done locally throughout 2025.

Stockport

In April, High Peak Comps donated £155 to Leon Ryder, who walked from Stockport County to Wrexham AFC in support of mental health charity Mentell.

They also gave a further £150 as a cash prize to the Seashell Trust in their spring raffle. This incredible charity helps children and young people with the most complex disabilities.

Similarly, they gave away another raffle prize in May - a pair of airpods for Signpost Stockport for Carers.

They've also been busy at Stepping Hill Hospital, giving away microwaves to staff rooms and toys for the children's unit.

And High Peak Comps even gave away a brand new Ninja ice cream maker to the East Cheshire Hospice, again to serve as a raffle prize.

Macclesfield

In October, High Peak Comps also donated a Works voucher to Christ the King Catholic and Church of England School Macclesfield, to help pay for new reading resources.

In the same month, the company also provided art supplies for Macclesfield Community Art Space, which provides art workshops, drop-ins, activities and events for kids and adults.

And in November, they had a massive month for supporting local raffles.

They donated prizes to Hollinhey Primary School, Marton Primary School, Space4Autism, and Just Drop In.

Congleton

In Congleton, meanwhile, High Peak Comps donated £100 to Congleton Friends for Leisure in August, which helps disabled children and young people in Cheshire East enjoy friendship and leisure.

They also donated £100 to the Congleton Storehouse Foodbank, paying for vital supplies.

And High Peak Comps helped Visyon charity in Congleton by buying some items off their wishlist, including lamps, colour overlays, and more. The charity provides free mental health support for children.

Contests

As for High Peak Comps other work, they also hosted their biggest ever prize draw on Christmas day.

Lucky winner Jade picked up no less than £100,000 cash on Christmas Day.
