Macclesfield Symphony Orchestra return to Congleton Town Hall to present a programme of popular music as follows:

Edward Elgar - Enigma Variations

Ralph Vaughan Williams - 'Songs of Travel' with baritone Ben Beer

Johannes Brahms - Symphony No. 2 in D

Ben is a versatile singer, musician and music director, with a background in many different genres of music. Although he now specialises in Musical Theatre, he has had recording and publishing contracts as a singer and songwriter and has even performed with Elton John at London's O2 Arena. He teaches singing at Manchester Grammar School and Fallibroome Academy, and works as a vocal coach, director and arranger for several choirs and musical theatre groups within Cheshire and Greater Manchester.

The conductor will be Anthony Houghton.
