Saturday 7 November
This year, Congleton's annual Rotary Bonfire and Fireworks display is on Saturday 7th November in Congleton Park.
Gates to the Park open at 5pm. There will be a torchlit procession at 5.50pm to light the fire at 6 pm. At 6.30 there's a family display for young children and the less able. At 7.30, there will be a full-on display lasting approximately 20 minutes. From 5 pm onwards, fairground rides, refreshment stalls and side stalls selling glow-toys and a tombola, will keep everyone entertained.
The first rise in ticket prices for two years has been kept to an absolute minimum, said the club. The price increase reflects the rising cost of running the event and adds 50p to the price of an adult ticket and £1 to a family ticket. Tickets bought in advance ( up until November 6th) remain the cheapest option and the club wants to encourage as many people as possible to buy their tickets online, saving the problems associated with handling cash and requiring a trip to the bank!
As in previous years, a Guy Fawkes competition will encourage children in nursery and primary schools to compete for cash prizes. All the Guys will be placed on top of the fire.
Here's a rundown of all the prices for 2026: Rotary says that price rises have been kept to an absolute minimum.
