Christmas Tree of Light switch-on

The Tree of Light switch-on event is at 4pm on Saturday, 30th November.

Join us for the Rotary-Congleton Christmas Tree of Light switch-on event in the Community Garden at 4pm on Saturday, 30th November. Smallwood school choir will be singing a selection of Christmas songs. Poems will be read by Rtn. Doug Parker and Helen Moreton. The Mayor of Congleton, Cllr. Kay Wesley will be in attendance and refreshments will be available from the Olde Kings Arms.

Five recyclable Wooden festive shapes for the Tree of Light are now available from Congleton Information Centre. A minimum donation of £1 is suggested. The decorations will be hung on the tree for the switch-on and further decorations added until December 23rd.

The tree will remain lit until 12th night on January 6th.
