Join us for a unique workshop with Vicky of Needlessly Felted at Artisanity, where you'll explore the art of hand embellishing felted items. This session is a natural follow-on from both the 2D Needle Felted Landscape workshop and the Wet Felted Landscape Workshop or can stand-alone.

Hand Embroidery, Needle Felting & Beading (2 Hours) £35 - 15th Feb 

In the session, you will bring your own (dried) piece of wool felt and add details to bring your landscape to life. Using hand embroidery, dry felting and beading techniques, you'll embellish your felted piece with stitching, beads, and other decorative touches to enhance the texture and depth of your work. Vicky will show you how to apply these techniques in a way that complements and highlights your original felted design.

This final session will give you an opportunity to explore the full range of your concept and bring colours and details into your work beyond what is possible with just wet felting. 

Participants will be provided with all the necessary materials, including -

• High-quality wool fibres in a dazzling array of colours, textures and types
• Hand spun and dyed artisan yarns
• Raw and dyed silk fibres - throwsters, mulberry silk, hand dyed silks, carrier rods, cocoons 
• Sari silk fibres, ribbons and scraps
• Curly locks in all colours and textures
• Nepps and noils - little woolly lumps and bumps for texture.
• Embroidery floss in all colours - including graduated colours and metallics. 
• Glass beads in all shapes and sizes - tiny seed beads, bugle beads, frosted, cut, patterned and shaped, murano, wooden, opalescent, sequins etc. 
• Needle felting mats and needles
