Wednesday (2nd June) was u3a day! Only Congleton u3a tennis group has celebrated this important day!

They had a tennis tournament in glorious sunshine which was won by Judy Lea and Reza Sedarati,

The tournament was sponsored by Barre Sculpt who were thanked for their support and the prizes were presented by Rob McNinch, tennis club chair.

There was a coffee morning with delicious cakes, a raffle and plant stall. Everyone was very generous and Sue Stanmore decided to take the opportunity to raise funds for The Christies Hospital in Macclesfield.

We are delighted to say they raised £570 for this valuable cause.
