Summer fun tournament at Congleton Lawn Tennis Club

Congleton Lawn Tennis Club's staging of the Summer Fun Tournament took place on Wednesday (30th June).
Twenty players took part in an evening of round robin tennis with players moving up the courts as they won matches, and then swapping playing partners to ensure the participants played with
different people during the evening. In the first semi-final Tom Graham and Steve Nicholson narrowly beat Ian Graham and Margaret Wilshaw whilst in the second semi-final Vicky Garner and Bryn Williams defeated Drew Medley and Anne Moore. In the final Tom and Steve made a strong start and despite a mini comeback from Vicky and Bryn, they eventually emerged the winners. Chair Rob McNinch presented the prizes courtesy of sponsors Soap Dragon UK and The Little Shop.
