Congleton Lawn Tennis Club's Wednesday Social Tennis Group held a mini tournament on the evening of 26th May and for once the rain held off.

The winners of the tournament run by session organiser Nick Wilkins were Tim Collins and Kieran Beeston who each received a bottle of wine.

The runners up Paul Walton and Danny Wilkins received chocolate as their prizes.

The Wednesday social session which runs from 6pm to 8pm is always looking for more people to join and is suitable for players of all standards.

Membership of the club this year remains at just £50 which is one of the cheapest memberships for a tennis club of its size in the country.

There are plenty of options to play socially as well as competitively, whilst making new friends and enjoying the various social events planned.
