A 15-year-old good Samaritan from Congleton has already raised over £700 to help buy PPE for NHS staff during the coronavirus pandemic through a Just Giving page.
Callum Bloor set up the fundraising page after a resident posted on Facebook asking where they could make financial donations to help raise funds for frontline workers.
Keen to put their skills to good use, the Design and Technology team at Congleton High School produced a batch of PPE face visors to supply local NHS and frontline workers.
After sharing their work on social media, they received so many offers of help and support from Congleton and surrounding areas, that a Just Giving page was created to enable them to raise £500 towards more materials.

Whilst on patrol, Congleton PCSOs discovered a large amount of fly-tipping along the entrance to Biddulph Valley Way.
A Congleton Police spokesperson said: "This area is popular with all kinds of people and is a relaxing place to walk, why spoil it for everyone else by dumping your rubbish along the side of roads and pathways?"

The weekly "applaud the NHS" initiative has been used as a novel way of collecting tinned food for a Congleton food bank during the coronavirus crisis.
It has been so successful a church leader has asked for other streets in the town - and further afield - to take up the initiative.

A 30-year-old woman was arrested for assaulting an elderly gentleman in Congleton on Easter Sunday.

An army of Congleton sewing volunteers have rallied together to ensure that a staggering total of 1256 scrub bags have been distributed to key frontline workers in the fight against coronavirus.
