The winner of Congleton's annual Christmas Window Competition has been revealed.

Bare Health on High Street has been crowned the winner of the Town Council-organised competition for the third year in a row.

Businesses across the town centre and High Town took part, transforming their front windows into eye catching festive displays.

Rachel McCarthy, Congleton Town Council's town centre and events manager, said: "We've had another fantastic response this year, with an exceptionally high standard of entries.

"Each year we see businesses investing more time, creativity and effort into their displays.

"The competition not only spreads Christmas cheer throughout the town but also strengthens community engagement and encourages residents to support our local independent traders during this important time of year."

Mel Ratcliffe, owner of Bare Health, added: "We're incredibly proud to have received first-place for the third year in a row.

"There were so many beautiful and creative displays across the town, and it's been wonderful to see Congleton looking so vibrant and festive. We're truly grateful to be part of such a supportive local community."

Each competitor was assessed on overall 'impact, creativity, effort, and seasonal appropriateness'.

Following careful deliberation and scoring, Bare Health was named the winner for the third consecutive year.

The Coffee House, which opened earlier this year, took home the silver medal.

Rounding out the top three was Chris Hamriding Lettings & Estate Agents.

The winning businesses were presented with certificates and a share of the cash prize by Congleton Town Mayor, coucnillor Robert Brittain.

He said: "Well done to every business that took part and helped create such a welcoming festive atmosphere across the town centre and High Town.

"Christmas is the busiest time of year for retailers, and the commitment shown by local businesses to enhance the town despite their busy schedules is commendable.

"I encourage residents and visitors alike to enjoy the displays and support our local shops this Christmas."

In addition to the overall winners, all participating businesses received highly commended or commended certificates to display in their windows, recognising the effort and creativity shown throughout the competition.
