Make your garden more wildlife friendly and win prizes this summer.

This week, Rotary-Congleton has announced an exciting 'Wildlife Friendly Garden Competition' heading to the local area.

All Congleton households can take part, whether they have a window box, a balcony, a courtyard or small or large garden.

The aim of the competition is to reminded residents that "together, we can do more than a little to help our endangered wildlife and add a bit more colour to our town."

There are generous prizes to be won, sponsored by local estate agents, Timothy a Brown, and Smithy Farm Nursery.

The competition will run until August 31st. Image credit: Rotary-Congleton.

Leaflets will soon be arriving on your doorstep if you live in CW12, so get your mowers, trimmers, rakes and hoes at the ready! If you don't receive a flyer, you can pick one up at the Congleton Information Centre or at Timothy a Brown's offices on West Street.

It's so easy to enter and the competition runs throughout summer until 31 August 2024. All you have to do is register by 1 June to take part.
