Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat

Presented by Centre Stage Youth Theatre Company, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be continuing at Daneside Theatre, Congleton, CW12 1DP from Friday 22 - Saturday 23 March 2024.

This talented and award-winning company of young people is excited to bring this popular and enduring musical to Daneside Theatre. It follows the biblical story, from the book of Genesis, of Joseph and his eleven brothers. Joseph was the favourite son and was given a coat of many colours by his father, Jacob. His brothers were jealous and sold him to the Egyptians as a slave. But Joseph can interpret dreams which foretell the future and comes to the notice of the Pharaoh, with a rapid rise in status.

The well-loved songs span various musical genres including country, pop, calypso and rock 'n' roll. Suitable for all ages.
