With lockdown beginning to ease and pubs finally being able to reopen for the first time in months on Saturday, which pubs and bars in Congleton will customers be able to return to?
It seems that any Congleton residents looking to enjoy a drink on Saturday night will have a good selection of venues to choose from, with a host of pubs and bars opening in the town on July 4th, and even more in the surrounding area.
However, those returning to one of these pubs or bars on Saturday will encounter a different drinking experience than they may be used to, with a range of social distancing measures in place to ensure the safety of customers.
Patrons may be encouraged to order via smartphone apps rather than at the bar, sanitation measures and one way systems will be in place, and pubs' usual ranges of games and activities will not be available.
For the full list of social distancing measures advised for pubs by the Government last week, see Nub News' report here.
