Here's what's you can do in Congleton for the first weekend of September.

Disney Meet-and-Greet

Book a two-and-a-half hour session at this Congleton kids play zone and meet some Disney heroes this Saturday.

Castaway Play will welcome the cast of Toy Story on Saturday September 3.

Castaway Play is located on Moss Road in Astbury.

Car Boot Sale

You've heard of spring cleaning, but how about an autumn clearout?

A carboot sale is taking place this weekend at Clonter Opera Theatre on Trap Road.

The six-hour carboot sale will start at 10am on Sunday September 4 and end at 4pm. Free parking is on site. Local food vendors and performers will be there.

There will be a dog show and games for kids to play as well.

The Railway Children Return

The Railway Children Return will be screened at the Daneside Theatre in Congleton this weekend.

It will take place at 7pm on Saturday.

The family film The family adventure film tells the story of evacuee children in Yorkshire, during the Second World War.

Rugby Returns

There's live sport on Park Street this weekend.

Live rugby returns to our town this weekend, and while the first team is away at Chester, Congleton Rugby Club second XV host Broughton Park.

Then the game will kick off at 3pm. Got the kids? Well don't worry, the park is open for them to play on whilst you take in the afternoon rugby action.

Let's get behind the Bears, and you can support Congleton Rugby Club financially witbthe bar will be open after the game too!
