Nativity! The Musical

Congleton Amateur Youth Theatre presents their production of Nativity! The Musical, showing at Daneside Theatre, Park Road, Congleton this week, until Saturday 18 November 2023, including afternoon matinee and evening performances. 

The cast is drawn from the young people of the NODA award-winning Congleton Amateur Youth Theatre, aged 9 – 19. Nativity! The Musical. 

Feel good, funny and full of yuletide joy, Nativity! The Musical features all of the favourite sing-along hits from the films including Sparkle and Shine, Nazareth, One Night One Moment, She's the Brightest Star and a whole host of new songs filled with the spirit of Christmas! This show is suitable for children aged 5 years and over. 

Tickets are available online from TicketSource or from Congleton Tourist Information Centre, 01260 270350 This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International (Europe) All authorised performance materials are also supplied by MTI Europe.

Congleton Market Quarter Grand Opening

The town is getting ready to welcome a brand-new artisan style market with the launch of the Congleton Market Quarter (CMQ) at 12pm on Friday, 17 November 2023.

Situated between Princess Street and Mill Street, Congleton Market Quarter will host a collection of bars, eateries, workspaces, artisan markets and outdoor spaces. 

This week's Grand Opening, officiated by the town mayor, will unveil a vibrant community space that promises to redefine the town centre and market for the benefit of Congleton's residents and businesses.

The celebration continues with our inaugural independent market on Saturday from 10am to 4pm, followed by the Sunday Service acoustic session from 7pm to 9pm. These events will become regular weekly fixtures, alongside CMQ's 'Totally Tenner Wednesday', offering selected dishes and drinks for just £10.

Christmas Craft Fair

On Sunday 19 November 2023, head down to Congleton Town Hall from 10:30m until 3:30pm to join the festive fun of a Christmas Craft Fair.

Get ready to immerse yourself in the festive spirit at Congleton's annual Christmas Craft Fair! Join the community for a merry day of creativity, shopping, and festive cheer, and discover unique handmade gifts, delightful decorations and one-of-a-kind crafts that will make your Christmas extra special.
