Rotary Fireworks Display

The Bonfire and Fireworks Night is back in Congleton Park on Saturday 4 November.

Wristbands are now on sale at the Congleton Information Centre at the Town Hall and Rotary will have gazebos in the town centre on several Saturdays before the event. In advance, entry costs £7.50 for adults and £4 for children under 15.

On the day, the price rises to £10 and £6. Rotary is encouraging people to use their credit or debit cards to buy tickets and avoid the huge problems of cash and change whenever possible. The Park has a maximum capacity of 5,000 people, so it pays to book early.

The gates to the park open at 5pm on Saturday and there is a procession to light the fire at 6pm. A family-friendly display of smaller fireworks will start at 6.30 and the full display will start at 7.30pm.

Throughout the evening, side stalls will serve food and soft drinks and fairground attractions will be running.

Big Band Night

On Saturday 4 November, Wychcraft Big Band will be hosting an evening of live music, including hits from Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé and more.

Join the fun, and help raise funds for a local charity supporting young performers, from 7:30pm onwards.

Tickets can be purchased for £10 from Congleton Tourist Information Centre.

Watercolour Workshop

Wind down from the Guy Fawkes celebrations at a Watercolour Workshop on Sunday 5 November from 10am.

This session is suitable for all levels from complete beginner to experienced, and all materials will be provided.

Attendees will be learning a range of techniques and using different mediums to create a modern loose style of watercolour painting. A full step by step demonstration and individual support is offered to enable you to create a delightful picture and encourage you to take up a lifelong hobby.

This two hour workshop is £25.
