Santa Clause

Santa Clause is coming to Congleton town and the surrounding areas this festive season, with the fun kicking off this weekend.

On Sunday 26 November, the annual Congleton Santa tour made a triumphant for 2023, and Santa will be visiting more families this weekend.

On Friday 1 December, he will travel to Bankyfields, Crescent, Astbury St, St James and Ruskin.

Saturday will see the big man take a well-earned break to top up his sleigh and give the reindeers a rest, but he will be back on Sunday 3 December visiting children in Lower Buglawton, Tall Ash and Hudson Meadows.

Live 80s Music

From 7pm, enjoy a night of live 80s music in Congleton Town Hall on Friday 1 December. 

Tickets are on sale for Electromantics' the UK's Premier 1980s Electronica / New Wave tribute band with Robotic Dancer – Manochrome. 

Expect covers by Depeche Mode, Soft Cell, The Human League, Duran Duran, Erasure and much more turbo-charged for a new experience.

Doors open at 6.30pm, tickets cost £18 each available from the Information Centre or online: www.ticketsource.co.uk/congleton-town-council

The Nantwich Singers Concert

On 3 December 2023 from 2:30pm, the Nantwich Singers will present a sparkling concert of festive music old and new featuring carols by Tavener, Poulenc, Chilcott, Stopford, Dove, Jamie Hall and Amy Bebbington. 

The event is set to take place at St Peter's Church, Chapel Street, Congleton. 

Admission is free. There will be a retiring collection.
