Mandela Painting Workshop

Join Nelly from 'MandaLove by Nelly' for a unique mandala painting workshop where you can learn how to paint your very own Fairy Light Bottles and Glass Jar Tealight Holders.

Attendees will enjoy a short introduction about the history of mandalas, a fun quiz, learn how to use glass paint, about tools, select your bottle or jar and have a product to take home at the end of the session.

You will be provided with a choice of bottles and glasses, dotting tool sets and a large selection of acrylic glass paints.

Previous mandala painting experience on canvas or paper is preferred but definitely not essential.

And, of course, there will be tea, coffee and cakes or biscuits.

Audley Male Voice Choir Concert

The Audley Male Voice Choir is performing a programme of popular and well-known songs at the Trinity Methodist Church on Wagg Street on Saturday 17 February at 7.30pm.

The local choir, with its origins in mining and Methodism, has now earned an international reputation. It now performs a varied and largely traditional male voice choir repertoire. As well as making its own recordings it gives around 10 concerts a year including performing at the Victoria Hall in Stoke on Trent.

Accompanying the choir in February, Anna Chiu, born and raised in Hong Kong, obtained her Master of performance at the Royal Northern College of Music.

Tickets are priced at £10 and are available from Congleton Information Centre at the Town Hall - for what promises to be an evening to remember.
