1. Barley Hops Birthday Bash

High Street beer experts Barley Hops are celebrating their eighth birthday on Saturday.

While the company was established in 2011, their premises has sat on 29 High St since 2013.

Saturday 14th November will mark their big day for the shop, and have local musician Marshal playing.

Live music will be from 7pm, and they're open until 11pm on Saturday. It is their first birthday celebrated since 2019, due to the 2020 November lockdown.

1. Paper and Sparkle Party

SLiK Nails Congleton has been in our town for over half a decade.

The 162 Bath Vale nail salon is hosting a glam-tastic afternoon of body care and bubbles at 12pm on Sunday.

As well as nail care, they'll be tea, coffee and cake, with even a spot of bubbly for a bit of Sunday afternoon fizz.

They'll be plenty of products to buy, a Raffle to win one of two Body Shop Advent Calendars, and stunning jewellery courtesy of Macclesfield's Flourish Jewellery.

1. Remembrance Sunday

Of course, the event we'll all be partaking in on Sunday is Remembrance Sunday.

The Parade will start at 10.30am, led by Gary Dolman from Congleton Royal British Legion, and will march along West Street and Swan Bank to enter Lawton Street via Bank Street to line up by the Cenotaph.

Please note Lawton Street will be closed between 9.30am-12.30pm. Expect delays on town centre roads from 10.30am-11am.

It is the first Remembrance Day held in-person since major TLC was given to Congleton Cenotaph.
