UPDATE: Broken down train near Kidsgrove has now been moved and Congleton services will return to normal

The broken down train near Congleton has now been moved, and services between Stoke-on-Trent and Stockport are returning to normal.

Trains may still be delayed by up to 30 minutes or cancelled until approximately 11:00.

Due to a broken down train just north of Kidsgrove, Congleton Station's services have been either delayed or cancelled since 6.30am.
