Broken down train results in cancellations at Congleton Station

A broken down train near Congleton is causing disruption to trains between Stoke-on-Trent and Stockport.

Trains may be delayed by up to 30 minutes or cancelled. Where possible, services will be diverted, not calling at stations between Stoke-on-Trent and Stockport.

Disruption is expected to continue until approximately 11:00.
