Two men charged following investigation into Congleton county lines operation

Two men have been charged following an investigation into county lines operations in Congleton.
Cheshire Police arrested two men at an address in Holmes Chapel on Saturday, March 29.
Matthew Tyrer, 50 and of no fixed address, was subsequently charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin, possession with intent to supply a controlled class A drug (heroin), possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A (crack cocaine) and failing to provide a sample for a drug test.
Meanwhile, 46-year-old Leon Crawford, from Green Way Close in Roby, Merseyside, was charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply a controlled class A drug (crack cocaine) and possession with intent to supply a controlled class A drug (heroin).
Both have since been remanded into custody.
They are due to appear at Chester Crown Court on Monday, April 28.
A 40-year-old woman was also arrested at the address in Holmes Chapel on Saturday.
She has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
