Two fire engines called to kitchen fire in Congleton

Firefighters used jets to extinguish a kitchen fire in Congleton at the weekend.  

 

They were called to Wilbraham Road at 1.46 pm on Saturday (August 10th). One fire engine from Congleton and another from Warrington went to the blaze. 

 

A spokesperson from Cheshire fire & Rescue Service said: "A large fan was used to remove smoke from the property."
