Christmas is a special time of year, and it's important to know you're not on your own.

Whether you have a packed day planned with family or a quieter one ahead, there are plenty of places in town where you can spend some time and enjoy being part of the community.

We've put together a roundup of pubs in and around Congleton that are opening their doors on December 25.

The Queen's Head and The Olde Kings Arms are both open from 11am to 2pm.

Keeping the royal theme going, the Prince of Wales will be serving customers from 11am to 3pm.

Also opening at 11am is the Unicorn on Holmes Chapel Road.

At midday, the Railway Inn, Beartown Tap and Throstles Nest all open their doors.

They will all be staying open until 3pm.

For those looking for a post-dinner drink, Ye Olde White Lion will be open from midday until 10pm.
