Opera Fest

Clonter Opera Theatre's Opera Fest gets underway on Friday.

They will be presenting a 'feast of dazzling operatic highlights from 19 of the world's best loved operas'.

Every piece will be set into context by Congleton-born compère Jordan Harding.

To add to the festive experience, there will be strawberries and cream, an outside bar, as well as Middle Eastern street food available to enjoy both inside and out, in addition to Clonter's other dining options.

Summer SEN Session @ Castaway Play

Saturday is the first of Castaway Play's Summer SEN Sessions.

Enjoy unlimited play, and a welcoming environment where everyone can have fun at their own pace.

Congleton Town v Belper Town

The Bears welcome Belper Town to the Cleric Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 3pm in this pre-season friendly.

It will offer a good opportunity for Congleton to get into gear ahead of their first competitive match of the 2026/27 season - an FA Cup extra preliminary round clash against Wolverhampton City on August 8.
