Congleton Green Festival

Families are invited to discover a greener side of Congleton at this year's Green Festival.

The free event, organised by Congleton Town Council and Congleton Partnership, will bring together around 30 local businesses, community groups and organisations.

Taking place from 10am to 3pm on Saturday, September 26, it will offer visitors the chance to discover new ideas for living more sustainably while enjoying a fun day out in the town centre.

Bark in the Park

The ever-popular Bark in the Park takes place on Sunday, with the RSPCA dog show starting at 2pm.

Classes include best trick, waggiest tail, best rescue and the dog judge would like to take home.

There will also be animal and environmental charity stalls, local attractions, a nature trail, children's activities, craft and retail stalls, food and drink vendors, a DJ and more.

Future of Holy Trinity Church

Looking ahead to next week, a public meeting is being held at Holy Trinity Church in Mossley.

All are welcome to attend.
