Congleton Town launch their FA Trophy campaign on Saturday.

The Bears will welcome Beverley Town to the Cleric Stadium for this preliminary round tie.

Kick-off is at 3pm.

Free swimming

The Rotary Club of Congleton is sponsoring a free swimming course for non-swimmers aged 14-16.

Places are available on a first-come, first-served basis and the course consists of five one-hour lessons at Congleton Leisure Centre, starting at 1pm on Monday, August 17.

Spaces are limited and interested parents and guardians are requested to book a place online.
