Six people barred from Congleton's pubs for a year following disorder

Six drinkers have been banned from Congleton's pubs for a year following disorder.

Another resident has been given a heftier lifetime ban from licensed premises' in the town.

A Congleton police spokesperson said: "Six people have been excluded from visiting Congleton licenced premises for 12 months for their part in recent disorder in the town.

"One person has been given a lifetime ban.

"Your licensees work with the police and Cheshire East Council to keep Congleton a safe place to socialise."

Those barred from the pubs have not been named.
