A good cause in Congleton have secured new equipment for a Congleton choir.

Rotary-Congleton said 'Thank You' to the Eaton Bank Academy School Choir for performing at the Rotary Christmas Concert.

The club asked the Jackson Road school to identify its requirements in the music department.

It turned out that there was a desperate need to replace old and worn keyboards.

As a result, secretary, Rod Goodier and President-elect Kevin Thompson from Rotary-Congleton turned up with three new Yamaha keyboards to present to the Academy.

It is hoped the donation can help inspire the next generation of Congleton talent.
