A road in Congleton is about to close for around 13 weeks whilst 'utility asset works' are carried out.

Spring Street will close from 28 August until 22 November, from the junction with Moor Street to the junction with Bromley Road.

Cheshire East Council confirmed the road will be closed whilst "the excavation and installation of 140M single HV cable" is carried out by ESP Electricity.

Congleton Nub News has approached ESP Electricity for more information and will update this article when we know more.
