Road closures implemented following collision involving HGV and car in Astbury

Road closures are currently in place following a road traffic collision in Astbury this morning.

The incident took place on the A34 Newcastle Road, Astbury.

A Crewe Police spokesperson said: "We're at the scene of a collision in Astbury involving a HGV and a car.

"A road closure is in place between West Road in Congleton and the A34 Scholar Green.

"Diversions are in place but drivers are advised to avoid the area. Thank you for your patience."
