Police are investigating a fatal crash between a tractor and two cyclists

A woman has died after a tractor crashed into two cyclists in Brereton Heath.

Emergency services were called to the A54 between Davenport Lane and Mill Lane in Brereton Heath on Monday (27th April) following the fatal collision at 7.39pm.

One of the cyclists, a 53-year-old woman, sadly died at the scene, while the other, a 19-year-old man had to be taken to hospital with serious injuries.

His condition is described as stable.

The tractor driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and has since been released under investigation, pending further enquiries.
