Police are appealing for information following a burglary at a Co-op store on Bromley Road.

Cheshire Constabulary were called to the scene early this morning, around 2.50am (Thursday 14 November).

They found that unknown offenders had gained access to the store and taken cash from the tills.

Detective Sergeant Laura Fox said: "We appreciate this incident occurred during the very early hours of the morning, but we would like to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed what happened or noticed anything suspicious either before or after the incident.

"The same goes for anyone who may have captured anything relevant on CCTV, video doorbell, or dashcam footage.

"You can report information to Cheshire Police via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, or call 101, quoting IML-1962379."
