Officers investigating a burglary in Congleton are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.

On Friday 2 February, a caller reported that a large amount of jewellery had been stolen from Victoria Mills Antiques in Foundry Bank, Congleton.

The incident is believed to have occurred at some time between 4.30am and 6am.

Enquiries in relation to the incident are ongoing and as part of their investigation, officers would like to appeal for any potential witnesses to come forward.

PC Shaun Lowe said:

"As well as appealing for witnesses, we are also looking to speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area shortly before or after the time of the incident.

"The same goes for anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage which they believe will be of assistance.

"We are also keen to hear from anyone who believes they have been offered or have purchased any of the stolen jewellery.

"To report any information, you can contact Cheshire Police via cheshire.police.uk/tell-us or call 101, quoting IML-1747846."
