Police appeal for witnesses after 20-year-old woman killed in Moreton crash

Cheshire Constabulary are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash on Friday 1 May.

At 9:55pm a black Audi was traveling along Newcastle Road towards Congleton when it left the carriageway near to Little Moreton Hall and collided with a silver Range Rover parked in a layby.

One of the passengers, a 20-year-old woman from the Chell area, died at the scene.

The Audi's other three passengers were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

One of the people in the Range Rover also received hospital treatment.

Detective Sergeant Iain Condliffe said: "I'd urge anyone who witnessed the collision and has not yet spoken to police to contact us.

"The same goes for anyone with dash cam footage that may help our investigation."
