PCSO catches a vehicle speeding every 63 seconds during an hour of enforcement on Congleton road

A PCSO averaged catching a vehicle speeding every 63 seconds during an hour of enforcement on a road in Congleton earlier today.

PCSO Ben Hooper had been out with the enforceable speed gun along Manchester Road today from 1pm to 2pm earlier this afternoon.

There were 57 activations on the gun, with 52mph being the highest speed recorded in a 30mph zone.

PCSO Hooper said: "That means on average there was a speeding vehicle every 63 seconds. #SlowDown #Its30ForAReason#."
