Park Lane care home sponsors vaccination centre refreshments

By Tom Avery 4th Feb 2021

Park Lane care home is supporting the Covid vaccination programme in Congleton by supplying refreshments.

The town's over-70s receiving their jabs at the town hall will now be able to enjoy tea or coffee and biscuits or a choice of other drinks, including fruit juice and water.

Jayne O'Sullivan, manager of the Kingsley Healthcare home, said: "The town hall vaccination centre has been up and running for a while but they had not been able to find a sponsor for refreshments.

"We were glad to step in as it is such an important operation to get all our elderly and vulnerable people vaccinated."

Park Lane's residents were all vaccinated at the home on January 13; all but four of the staff have also been vaccinated.
