An 'older lady' is looking for a loving family to spend her golden years with.
Ten-year-old Tilly, a Bichon Frise cross, is hoping to find her forever home after coming into the care of the RSPCA Macclesfield, South East Cheshire & Buxton Branch.
When she arrived in August, Tilly was suffering from a chronic skin condition and poor eyesight, with mature cataracts affecting both eyes.
Her coat and skin were in poor condition, including areas of patchy hair loss, but after receiving the veterinary treatment she needed, her skin has improved dramatically.
Tilly has also recently had a lipoma removed from her stomach and has undergone blood tests to check her thyroid, which came back clear.
Despite everything she has been through, Tilly is described as 'young at heart and a real cuddle lover'.
An RSPCA spokesperson said: "Tilly is such a lovely little girl who has come on tremendously since arriving in our care.
"She may be an older lady, but she certainly hasn't lost her zest for life."

Tilly was already neutered and microchipped when she arrived at the RSPCA and is now ready to find someone who can give her the love and care she deserves.
She is currently being cared for at the RSPCA rehoming centre in Chesterfield.
