Officers receive reports of an attempted burglary at St James Church

Congleton Police received reports of an attempted burglary at St James Church on Astbury Street this morning (17th March).

Officers know that the incident took place between 10am on Monday (15th March) and 9:30am today.

A Congleton Police spokesperson said: "Patrols will continue in the area for visibility and reassurance.

"If you have seen anything suspicious in the area or have any relevant CCTV please contact us through our website or 101 and quote IML940451.

"You can also inform us anonymously through Crimestoppers by using their website or phoning 0800 555 111."
