New dentist approved for Congleton

A new dental practice has been approved for Congleton.

Planning permission has been granted for a dentist at 31, High Street, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 1BQ.

Crown Bank Dental already has a practice in Sandbach, run by Dr Mehdi Yazdi.

The application building is a late 20th century two-storey property, and was formally a branch of Barclays bank.

The venue is located within the town centre for Congleton as defined by the Local Plan Policies Map. The property frontage faces onto High Street with its west elevation sitting along Market Street.

Its setting is an important gateway into the Town Centre and the site falls within the Moody Street Conservation Area.

The new practice was approved on 29 November 2023.
