An application has been submitted to Cheshire East Council to build two one-bedroom flats in a local Conservation Area.

The application, which was submitted on 27 November 2023, has been submitted to demolish a detached garage on land to the West of, Elizabeth Street, Congleton, CW12 4DJ.

The proposal has been submitted by A E Planning Consultants, for the demolition of a detached garage and the construction of two one-bedroom flats.

The application states that "The subject building was formerly used as a domestic garage for the dwelling at No.4 Booth Street. This dwelling, located to the rear of the site, has recently been converted into two houses and these are owned separately. The site would be used to accommodate a building that would provide the accommodation for two self-contained flats."

A decision has not yet been reached by the council.

Find the application on the Congleton planning website using the reference: 23/4455C.
