Congleton Town Council is excited to unveil a new Events and Attractions Guide 2024 for residents and visitors alike.

The handy pocket size guide is set to showcase the vibrant array of events and attractions available in the area, fostering tourism and celebrating the unique spirit of Congleton.

Developed by the town council this eagerly anticipated booklet features detailed listings of upcoming events, including music festivals, exhibitions, food markets, and more. Additionally, readers will find information on historical sites, walks, and talks and local landmarks, ensuring they can make the most of their time in Congleton.

Congleton Town Mayor, Cllr Rob Moreton expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative, stating: "The launch of the Events and Attractions Guide is a testament to our town's enduring appeal and vibrant community spirit. Congleton has so much to offer, from its stunning natural beauty to its thriving cultural scene. This guide will serve as a gateway for both residents and visitors to discover the many treasures our town has to offer."

"Despite our best efforts, the town has an abundance of beloved attractions and events that we couldn't squeeze into the booklet. Congleton boasts a diverse array of restaurants, cafes, shops, and activities, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy. We encourage visitors to explore beyond the pages and delve deeper into the town's hidden gems and lively events. Whatever your reason for coming to Congleton, you'll have a thoroughly enjoyable time, the town has so much to discover and offer all year round."

With its user-friendly format and comprehensive content, the free guide will be available from the Congleton Information Centre and various locations with 26,000 copies being delivered to all CW12 households, businesses and key attractions in Congleton and surrounding towns. A digital version will also be accessible via the town council's website.

The Town Council enlisted the services of Beartown Voice, a local independent business, to create the dynamic guide, building upon the successful collaboration seen with the Town Guide 2023. With funding secured from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, the council guaranteed the production of this guide.
