Two local businesses are combining to bring a brand new concept event to Congleton.

Needlessly Felted and Cocktails on the Corner are excited to announce an exclusive evening of creativity and indulgence coming to Congleton in May - in the form of a brand new cocktail and needle felting workshop.

Cocktails on the Corner is a vibrant venue known for its eclectic ambiance, handcrafted cocktails, and exciting events. Located in the heart of Congleton, Cheshire, Cocktails on the Corner is a favourite destination for those seeking memorable experiences and creative expression.

And joining the venue for this new venture will be Vicky from Needlessly Felted in Congleton; a skilled artist who works with sustainable wool.

She specialises in needle felting, using barbed needles to sculpt wool into intricate designs. She has also ventured into wet felting, using hot water and soap to bond fibres. Vicky's creations range from intricate jewellery to large art pieces, reflecting her love of colour and attention to detail. She incorporates locally produced fleece whenever possible. Vicky not only creates but also teaches needle felting, inspiring others to explore this ancient craft.

With these two local businesses, local residents can unwind and explore their artistic side as the group delves into the world of needle felting, guided by the talented Vicky. Whether you're a novice or an experienced crafter, there's something for everyone at this sparkling event.

Participants will have the opportunity to choose from various projects, including beginner-friendly landscape-themed greetings cards or brooches, intermediate-level mushroom designs in any colours, or advanced-level creations such as blue tits or robins.

"Something different to start your weekend! Combining creativity with food and drink is a great way to enhance your Friday night" , Said Vicky of Needlessly Felted, "Felting is a relaxing and social activity which lends itself perfectly to a weekend social setting, so join us for a unique evening!"

Attendees can select from two packages:

Option 1 - For £55 per person:

  • Two hours of expert needle felting tuition
  • All necessary materials and equipment to craft your chosen masterpiece
  • Indulge in a delectable grazing table buffet provided by All in the Detail, Cheshire
  • A complimentary glass of prosecco to sip and savour

Option 2 - For £62 per person:

This brand new event is set to take place on Friday 10 May from 7pm until 9pm at Cocktails on the Corner located at 29 High St, Congleton, Cheshire, CW12 1BG.

Spaces for this exclusive event are limited, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Whether you're looking to hone your crafting skills or simply unwind with friends in a creative atmosphere, this event promises to be a delightful blend of artistry and relaxation.
