A man on a mission to visit every pub in the UK is coming back to Congleton.

Dale Harvey from The Great British Pub Crawl has announced he will be touring the bars of Beartown this Friday, October 9.

The beer blogger will be documenting his visit across his various social media platforms, which have over 300,000 followers between them.

He said: "This is a wonderful little town and I can't wait to be back in it and tick off those pubs I still haven't made it to, whilst also getting back to some belters like R&G's Tap House and the Beartown Tap!

"Stone crawl has been kindly sponsored by the great folks at The Royal Oak in Biddulph, where I will be kicking off my day on route into Congleton and by the Throstles Nest which will be my second stop of the day... Both pubs owned by the fabulous Caldmore Taverns who own some truly exceptional pubs in and around the area!

"So... where else would you like to see me go in or around Congleton on Friday?"
