Could there be such a thing as as healthy beer?

Why not find out by trying Bach 95 at Congleton Lawn Tennis Club this weekend?

The average canned beer contains 153 calories. Bach 95 has 58 less calories than that.

The vegan beer is also better for the environment, and has sponsored charity events in the past.

While it still should be enjoyed in moderation, the lager is a great fit for Congleton Lawn Tennis Club's tournament this week as it was started by local sportsmen.

Started by three Cheshire pro rugby players, Bach 95 is a gluten free premium lager with 4.2% alcohol volume.

Named after the calorific content, it will be a nice light post-tennis beer for those taking part in Congleton Lawn Tennis Club's latest tournament.

Wednesday 3 November will see the Fireworks Fun Tournament, for all skill levels and genders.

Congleton Lawn Tennis Club said: "Bach 95 will visit on Wednesday this week from 6pm for our beer tasting event held in conjunction with the Fireworks Fun Tournament.

"You can turn up just for the beer tasting even if you are not in the tournament.

"Bar open all evening. Thank you to Bach 95 for your support of this event."
