To show their appreciation for the hard work and dedication of key workers throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, Spall Clark Solicitors is offering key workers either a free Will or Lasting Powers of Attorney.

The offer runs until 14th June 2020 and is open to all key workers including care workers, teachers, supermarket staff and transport workers.

Managing Director Paul Clark said: "As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, more and more people are thinking about what the future may hold for them and their loved ones.

"This has led to an increase in the number of people wishing to put their affairs in order. We have nothing but gratitude and praise for all the key workers who are selflessly putting everyone else's health and safety above their own during these difficult times.

"I have family members who work for the NHS and other key worker professions and so I understand how vital their work is."

Mr Clark added: "We would like to offer our expertise to local key workers free of charge to help lighten their load and give them peace of mind during these difficult times.

"We also understand how important it is for spouses, civil partners and unmarried couples to plan their affairs together and so we are offering to prepare Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney for partners and spouses of key workers at a heavily discounted rate."

Spall Clark Solicitors has adapted their way of working during the pandemic with initial meetings currently being carried out online by Zoom or over the telephone seven days a week.

The signing of legal documents can still be carried out in person following strict social distancing guidelines.
