Jones Homes is opening the doors to its Westlow Heath development in Congleton for an open house event this weekend.

On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 February, visitors will be able to look inside the luxury show home and take advantage of a range of incentives and offers during the event hours of 11am to 5pm.

Jones Homes is building a total of 232 properties at the site off Manchester Road and Moss Lane, including 162 houses for private sale and 70 affordable homes for local people available through rent or shared ownership.

More than two-thirds of the homes have now been occupied and a further five properties have been built and are ready to move into. Another 14 homes have also been reserved off plan.

Simon Whalley, Sales Director for Jones Homes North West, said: "Our open house event this weekend is an ideal opportunity for house-hunters in Cheshire to find out more about the homes we are building at Westlow Heath and potentially find their dream home.

"With a selection of homes fully built and ready to be occupied straight away, this is the perfect time for buyers to make the move to this sought-after development on the edge of Congleton.

"As well as having a chance to look around the showhome and enjoy complimentary refreshments, buyers will be able to take advantage of a wide range of incentives – such as offers on integrated appliances, carpets and flooring, and lawned gardens.

"Visitors will also be able to find out more about schemes such as Part Exchange and Agency Assist which are designed to make the housebuying process simpler and easier. With Agency Assist, we instruct an independent estate agent to value a customer's existing home, and liaise with them to progress the sale.

"With Part Exchange, we will make an offer on the customer's existing property ourselves, giving them the peace of mind of having a guaranteed buyer as well as saving them thousands of pounds in estate agency fees."

Construction work began at Westlow Heath in 2017, and the final homes are due to be completed next year.

Simon added: "Since we welcomed the first residents to Westlow Heath more than four years ago, a fabulous community has formed and continues to thrive as more residents move into their new homes.

"The development has attracted a range of different housebuyers, and has proved particularly popular with families.

"Recently, we've noticed increased demand coming from people looking to relocate from Macclesfield and Alderley Edge who are keen to buy a home in Cheshire but at a more affordable price.

"As well as boasting an accessible location on the edge of Congleton which offers easy access to the town centre, the development also has an abundance of green open space and a scenic countryside setting.

"For these reasons, we are really looking forward to welcoming visitors to Westlow Heath this weekend so they can find out more about the range of spacious four-bedroom family homes on offer."

A selection of four-bedroom homes are currently available to purchase at Westlow Heath, with prices starting from £399,950.
