Join Rotary-Congleton and help the Covid-19 vaccination drive at the town hall

By Tom Avery 22nd Jan 2021

Rotary-Congleton volunteers have been marshalling and providing assistance at the Congleton Town Hall, where medical teams have been vaccinating up to 500 elderly residents daily against Covid-19.

This process is likely to go on, at intervals, for weeks or months!

President of Rotary, Stewart Price, said: "As the vaccination programme continues, Rotary will need to recruit more helpers to assist.

"The club is well-known in Congleton for organising and helping at major events and Covid-19 vaccination is no different.

"This is a great opportunity for local people to step up and join a global organisation of 1.2 million members dedicated to local, national and international service."

Mr Price continued: "Locally, we work as 'a force for good in the local community', we are a small and friendly team that bonds around local work and when times are easier, enjoying a great social life."

If anyone is interested in becoming a Rotarian and helping please contact us via our website or give Stewart Price a ring on 07799 747 204.
