A Supported Housing Team Leader is required to join a public sector organisation in Congleton
Sellick Partnership's client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced Supported Housing Team Leader to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Key responsibilities of the Supported Housing Team Leader:
- Working with tenancy officers, housing officers and manager to monitor occupancy, rent collection and void levels against targets.
- Developing and motivating staff by providing effective supervision and appraisals with training and staff development.
- Ensuring casework standards are in place and standards are regularly checked.
- Maintaining and improving service delivery by agreeing resident needs and delivering services in line with the Quality Assessment Framework, and housing and support standards.
- Ensuring workload planning and relevant cover of the service is maintained, including year-end planning.
- Ensuring effective tenancy management in line with policies and procedures including evictions, arrears and ASB (anti-social behaviour).
- Participating in and supporting partnership working with other agencies and statutory bodies.
- Ensuring all staff are trained on key policies and procedures and contributing towards ensuring performance against KPI's.
- Assisting with the effective management of budgets and ensuring revenue and income is maximised.
- Assisting in recruitment and selection of staff.
Required skills and experience of the Supported Housing Team Leader:
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience in working with vulnerable and disadvantaged groups.
- Ability to lead staff teams and adapt management styles to achieve objectives.
- Good level of organisation in planning and prioritising.
- Effective liaison with staff/other stakeholders to give information/find information/resolve problems.
- A full clean UK Driving License.
