Police officers in Congleton are after information following the burglary of a hairdressers in Congleton.

PC Karl Shields of Congleton LPU is investigating a burglary in Congleton and has issued a CCTV image of an adult male police are looking to speak to.

A business in the High Street area of Congleton, reported there had been a burglary at some time between 3:17am and 3:44am on Tuesday June 7.

A large quantity of cash was stolen during the incident along with personal documents.

Enquiries have been ongoing, and police are appealing for anyone who recognises the man, has information or CCTV from the incident to get in touch.

"Since the incident, we have been following numerous lines of enquiry and are keen to hear from members of the public who may have information that could lead us to identifying the man captured in the CCTV image," said PC Shields.

"If you think you recognise the man pictured or have any information regarding their identity please come forward.

"I would also like to appeal directly to the man in the CCTV image to get in touch."

Alternatively, anyone with information can report it to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via this webpage.

Various Congleton hairdressers will be contacted for comment.
